Uneetee: Juicy Tee

Ok my friends if you haven't check out Uneetee recently you need to head over now...and look I even made it easy by providing a dandy link. I am pretty sure that their custom tees just keep getting better and better. My current favorite (I say current, because my mind could change in a matter of hours) tee on Uneetee is entitled Juicy. There is something about the elegantly drawn woman that is so refreshing, but then the color is added changing the whole dynamic. It is a classic case of digital art meeting hand drawn sketches...The new world of art meets the old. Pick up your own custom tee at good old Uneetee.

Best Custom Tees: Twilight T-Shirts

Even thought the second movie instalment of Twilight does not release until November 20, 2009 I thought I would just share with you some awesome Twilight shirts shirts I have found while browsing CafePress. My one disappointment was the lack of cool Jacob t-shirts. That is not to say I am Team Jacob, but it is rather that Jacob has come to be one of my favorite characters all on his own. He is youthful and vivacious despite his serious role in life. I can't seem to understasnd why more people don't love Jacob like I do? Oh welll! Today I have collect 6 of the best custome tees despicting twilight, and some of its inside jokes. Which shirts do you love? Let me know!

Dance Party Massacre: Summer Photoshoot

Ok I am realy enjoying the whole concept behind Dance Party Massacre. Owner Alex Dakoulas decided to take the things he loved (dance parties & and watching horror films) and create one killer graphics apperal line! What is it about their art that makes DPM so unique? I think they said it best on DPN's website " it's imagery is a combination of horror, fun, color, and danger." To start the idea of doing what you love off right Dance Party Massacre was launched at a Holloween dance party back in 2007. You can't get much better than that! DPN is all about doing what you love and not caring what others think. "It's about doing what makes you happy, and believing in yourself because that's how you'll survive." Now check out their behind the scenes video for their summer photoshoot, its is awesome! Man, they have fun!

Shocking Youth Chrome Tee: Who is that Face?

I don't know if it is just me, but I was looking at the Shocking Youth t-shirt the other day and realized I recognized the face on the Chrome Face Tee! So I admit it wasn't really the face of anyone I know, I just bares an uncanny resembulance to Peaches Geldof. I don't know if the artist intended this or is they just had her in mind at the time of Chome's creation. What I do know is that there is no denying that face is of Peaches Geldof. What do you think?

In recent years I have noticed an increase in I Love NY t-shirt variation, now you can find the t-shirts in colors and a variation of fonts. But why do we have to leave the limit there? Here are some unique custom variations I found on the well known slogan I Love NY.

Keep Calm and Carry On

"Keep Calm and Carry On" is probably a slogan you have been seeing a lot of lately, but why? Where did the saying even come from? The slogan was created by an unknown civil servant of the British crown in 1939. It was to serve as a poster to be issued during World War II by the British Government. The "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster was the finally instalment in a series of three posters. This last poster was only to be seen by the public in the worst case
scenario...invasion by the Nazis. So only a few "Keep Strong and Carry On" posters were ever distributed, which led to the slogan being almost completely forgotten until 2000 when a man found the old poster in a box of books he had bought at an auction.

Now the "Keep Calm and Carry On" slogan can be seen in a variety of places in and outside of Britain. The United States Embassy in Belgium even has one of the posters hanging on the wall. The slogan has been adopted by many organizations and individuals, because it has the power to band people together. "Keep Strong and Carry On" is a timeless slogan that can apply to everyone. That is why it has become so popular, showing up on everything from t-shirts to mugs, and even doormats. It has even inspired a variety of parodies, "Now Panic and Freak Out" being one of the most popular.

Remembering the 80's with Molly Ringwald T-Shirts

One of my favorite eras is the 80's. The people were full of possibility, the music was amazing, and who can deny the fashion which was so ahead of its time that many of the styles are still relevant today. One of the many style icons that come to mind is the one and only Molly Ringwald. With her short red hair, and spunky attire, she set a different standard to the word pretty. No longer did girls have to have long hair and a tan, they just needed to be original. Let me tell you...Molly had a style are her own, and that girl knew how to rock the t-shirts!

Now for your viewing pleasure some t-shirts featuring Molly Ringwald, or the movies she was in!

Custom Vintage T-Shirts

Yesterday I was saying how you can wear a t-shirt as the centerpiece of an outfit, and guess what...its still true! In fact I am wearing a plain white tee today and it works perfectly. Today I thought I'd give you all a do it yourself idea so you don't get stuck wearing the same old plain shirt everyone else has.

A style that is continually popular is the vintage t-shirt look. People will spend a lot of money to buy an actual old and used vintage t-shirt or even to buy an expensive imitation one. But why blow our money on expensive shirts when we can make them cheap and easy from the comfort of our own home? Beats me. Just follow these

Here's a super easy instruction for making any t-shirt look vintage. You'll we styling in no time!

T-Shirts Aren't Only for the Gym Ladies

Trust me when I say that t-shirts are no longer just for work clothes, team uniforms, or exercises attire. More and more frequently t-shirts are becoming the centerpiece to fabulous outfits. Men have always been able to pull the t-shirt look off and still have style, but it took women a bit longer to realize the t-shirt's fashion potential. I think it is safe to say it was celebrities who helped bring this style to the general public.

Gone are the days you have to choose between fashion, comfort, and function. Now women can have it all! Just pair a t-shirt with some jeans, funky high heels, a stellar necklace, maybe some bracelets, or a jacket, and WALA you have a fabulous comfortably styling outfit. This t-shirt style is appropriate for school, going out during the day or night, and even for some jobs. Don't be afraid to tryout a bunch of different looks with your t-shirts.

Three Wolf Moon

Three Wolf Moon is not an example of horrible grammar, it's the name of the t-shirt that became a top seller on Amazon.com back in may. If you haven't seen this shirt, or read the reviews documenting its awesome powers, you are missing out my friend.

Back in November Brian Govern found Three Wolf Moon when it was suggested to him by Amazon.com. Finding the suggestion odd he decided to check it out, eventually leading him to write an sarcastic review giving the item 5 stars. His review recounts a faux-experience he had the first time he wore Three Wolf Moon (which he truthfully doesn't even own). In his story he walks from his trailer to Wal-Mart and is instantly flocked by women. Eventually going home with "a slightly sweaty dream in sweatpants and flip-flops" as he states it. In the end Govern gives readers an overview with some pros: fits my girthy frame, has wolves on it, attracts women; and some cons: only 3 wolves (could probably use a few more on the 'guns'), cannot see wolves when sitting with arms crossed, wolves would have been better if they glowed in the dark.

Since Govern's original review. Three Wolf Moon has inspired a YouTube video singing the lyrics from reviews set to the tune of "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas. Three Wolf Moon has many t-shirt parodies, and even has its very own Wikipedia page giving quick incite into the Internet sensation. This just shows how one person can make something unpopular into a top must have item. It is all about the attitude!!!
